CANDIDATES FOR SENATE
NOW UPDATING
Elections to the U.S. Senate will be held on November 5, 2024 coinciding with the house elections. A total of 33 of the 100 seats are up for regular election.
Special elections will also occur to fill vacancies in the 118th Congress.
Those elected to the U.S. Senate in the 33 regular elections on November 5, 2024, will begin their six-year terms on January 3, 2025.
It may be time to consider a constitutional amendment to allow the addition of fifty senate seats thereby allowing every state a senatorial election every year and further allow a more favorable ratio of senators to the general population.
