Candidate

1.  I will not participate in fraudulent behavior or give favors or compensation directly or indirectly in any form to obtain votes.
2. I will give a full and complete statement of my financial position stating all sources of income and expenses whenever asked to do so.  I will place all business functions that I or my family owns into a blind trust to avoid undue influence of my office on the business and thereby avoid issues involving conflict of interest.  I will not seek government contracts and will divest any interest I, my family or friends has in governmental contracts.  
3.  I will engage in a truthful and honorable campaign to win office with main efforts aimed at stating a position on an issue or proposal.  When elected I will  be truthful when answering questions from the press.
4.  I will be a person of virtue and not engage in behavior of sexual nature that brings embarrassment to government, my particular office, my family or any person who otherwise would not be subject to public criticism. 
5. I will not engage in negative campaign tactics including but not limited to attacks on opponent's family members or friends.
6. I will support honest election process and allow no false statements or accusations to be issued from my organization or staff.  No public statements will be issued without my prior approval. Further, I will immediately retract any statement when it is contrary to my views. 
7.  I will abide by the findings of the ethics committee governing my elected office and resign office held whenever ethics violations are proven against me.
8. I will abide by voter primary election decisions of my political party or organization and support the winner acting contrary only after resignation from the party or organization.
9. I will limit financial support to my campaign from any one entity and thereby limit undue influence. 
10. I will refuse financial support from any union whose members have had no opportunity to vote against such support.
11. I will fully and immediately disclose information necessary to meet legal requirements for the office sought.

1. I will not exchange my vote for favor or compensation nor engage in election fraud behavior.
   
2. I will report any suspected irregularity in the voting process to the proper authorities for investigation and follow up.
3. I will encourage and support the registration of all who qualify to become voters, regardless of political opinion, race, gender, creed or economic condition or any factor which may be in opposition to their voting rights.
4. I will give financial and/or organizational support to the political entity which best represents my views.
5. I will set aside self interest and support those issues which I believe to be of benefit to the health, safety and general welfare of all Americans 
6. I will not crossover vote for purpose of harming any candidate and preventing a true reflection of constituent support for the best candidate.
